as i said before my family is going to be out of town all memorial day weekend and im going to be having parties at my house on friday and saturday!
so lemme break it down for yea.
my address is 1222 appleton way (take lincoln to rose and make a right on penmare left on appleton)
come over sometime around 8.
bring your own alcohol. you might even bring some for others if you like making people smile.
please dont:
be super loud when your outside
wear studded belts (they fucked up my walls a lot last time)
hang out in front of my house or be loud and wake everyone in the neighborhood when you leave.
put your cigs out on the walls or carpet
bring drugs other then weed
leave your trash outside my house. my neighbors didnt like having del taco rapers and whiskey bottles on their lawns.
be a dork and not come because you think you wont know anyone. just bring your respectful friends and drink some beer and youll have a good ol' time. i promise.

EDIT: 1) let me know if you need a place to stay either nights so i can make sure and have a room or blakets for ya. 2) i would really appreciate some help cleaning up. even just throwing away some trash as you leave will earn you a special place in my heart.

my family is going out of town for memorial day weekend so for that friday and saturday, may 27 & 28, there will be a nice little place for everyone to hang out, drink, and have fun! ill post more details later.
would anyone be interested in having some kinda super bbq the sunday after the parties are done? people would need to volunteer for food and clean up help but it sounds like a good time to me. cook a lil food, drink a lil beer. i mean come on, its almost summer right? id just need to know kinda soon so i can make sure my mom gets more propane before she leaves.
ANNNNNNND im super excited for okkervil river on saturday! who all is going? im hoping it will be like the ucla show and pretty much everyone i know will be there singing along.
ANNNNNNND both rosendahl and villaraigosa got elected tonight. :)!!!!

okkervil river was soooo great! im really glad i saw linda, molly, tessa, gabo and some other people i dont usually get to see that often as well. i miss hanging out with everyone everyday over summer. that was good times.
thanks again to everyone who came out on saturday, that was really fun. i think were playing again this upcoming saturday at some ones apartment in venice. sounds like a good time. there are four apartments in the complex and everyone is working on throwing a party. there will be a keg i think. were playing in a large living room in one of the apartments. good!

This week the senate is debating the judicial nomination of William Myers III. He's a career cattle and mining industry lobbyist who is now up for a lifetime appointment to the 4th District Appeals Court. He's just one of Bush's 20 judicial nominees that Democrats rejected last term, (compared to over 200 they approved). But Bush is still fighting hard to make sure every single one gets confirmed.
These 20 judges were singled out because they consistently picked corporate interests over basic rights, and want to roll back decades of progress on anti-discrimination, women's rights, worker's rights, and the environment. If we don't act now to support a real opposition, these corporate judges will be given lifetime appointments to lock in Bush's ultra conservative ideology for decades.
Plus, the Bush administration has threatened to use this fight to take away the Senate Democrat's ability to resistst any future judges, including Supreme Court nominees.
MoveOn has started a petition calling on our Senators to stand firm against Myers and all 20 of these rejected corporate nominees, and to fight any manipulation of the rules to force them through.
